  My group came here today .beyond good selection of food.very quick service. Excellent value for OAPs. Pity all the party wasn't put on same table. Still never mind. Good experience.

  We arrived as a party and went through the back door into the restaurant area where we were turned round and told to go round the front door, walked right round and ended up in the same place where we were seated, why? After getting settled with drinks on table waiting for our orders to be taken another member of staff told us we could not sit there and would have to move into an area that had only four seats dotted about being there were three couples that was not going to work. After some argument another member of staff said we could stay seated and took our orders. As a pre booked party of 37 mainly pensioners I felt we were herded about like cattle. On the plus side the food was good and service was good once the previous fiasco and rudeness of a certain member of staff was over. On the whole the experience was ruined by a bad atmosphere and I cannot recommend. We won't be going again.

  The food is home made and really nice, very tasty. Good reasonable prices. Staff friendly and welcoming. Deserts hard to choose from.
